Life is full of endless possibilities, and we created the world’s first natural crystal nails to serve as a beautiful reminder of that.
We are a small team based in Toronto, Canada.
In 2022, after putting on a nail-shaped raw crystal on her nails just for fun but becoming obsessed with this idea, self-taught lapidary Raven carved the first set of crystal nails.
And things started to get wild.
Her friends saw them, loved them, and immediately asked for their own sets. Soon, their friends were intrigued too. What started as a fun experiment quickly turned into a word-of-mouth sensation.
Raven knew she needed help. She teamed up with two skilled partners, and together we spent 3 years developing and perfecting our technique.
Now, we are ready to present the natural crystal nails to the world. It’s time to Make it Crystal.

Inspired by ancient sacred geometry, every nail catches and refracts light, unveiling a star shaped motif, represents boundless potential of creation and manifestation.
We named this star shaped symbol the "Sparkle of Life", with its four points representing the 4 fundamental elements. Every creation of Make it Crystal is infused with the blessings embodied by the elements: resilience, creativity, expansiveness and courage. Just like how the four elements build the universe, the sparkle of life reminds you of your boundless potentials to transform intentions into reality.

Do I have to shop every month?
The Gem Nails Circle is completely flexible — there’s no obligation to shop monthly. You can pause your membership anytime, or simply let your monthly store credit accumulate until you’re ready to use it.
Does the Gem Nails Circle have a monthly fee?
Yes — it’s $80 USD per month, and every dollar goes directly into your store credit. There are no extra fees. Think of it like a savings account, but with exclusive perks and early access to rare drops. You can cancel or pause anytime.
Is my nail set reserved once I join the membership?
Yes — once you’ve been a member for 2 months (accumulative, not necessarily continuous), you’ll have a guaranteed reserved spot. Only 9 sets are crafted each month, and they’ve sold out within the first week every time since launch. Your membership helps secure availability—especially if you're planning for a special occasion.
Are my nails crafted as soon as I join the membership?
No — becoming a member reserves your future production slot, but your nails are only carved after you’ve paid in full and submitted your sizing. Once we have both, your custom set enters production with a 6-week lead time. Think of it as securing your place in line for a future bespoke order.
How do I pause or cancel my membership?

How can I use my store credit?
Yes, your store credit is automatically added to your Make it Crystal account. To use it, just sign in on our website with the email linked to your membership (Main page → side navigation bar → “Account”). At checkout, you’ll see the “use store credit” option. Do I lose my store credit if I cancel or pause?
No — once your monthly payment is processed, that store credit is yours to keep. It never expires, and no cancellation or pause will remove it. Think of it as savings account specifically for jewellery nails — it’s yours, always.
